I hope this fall season brings you peace, health, blessings and much gratitude.
As of today, September 22, 2021 I have sadly decided to close my doors for one month. This is for a variety of reasons; mainly due to the discrimination and targeting that is being allowed and encouraged in our community, province and country – first against adults and now even against children.
I would like to thank you – you are each important and precious to me in so many ways. I will be reimbursing anyone who has prepaid for yoga and anyone who has recently purchased gift certificates for you to share some love in another way. If you do not receive an email transfer for your purchase, please let me know.

I beleive that allowing people and businesses to judge and discriminate against others for not wanting to take a drug – possibly for good reason based on past or individual experience, opens the doors to judgement of all kinds of diverse levels of health, well-being and comorbidities that could pose potential threats to the cost of our social healthcare system. There was a time that people with epilepsy were not allowed in churches. Yet, it is only those who choose to not take a certain drug that are being targeted – for now. This divide and conquer attitude using fear makes people act in strange ways: pointing fingers rather than taking personal responsibility. I am choosing not to partake in that mentality. Those who are not vaccinated did not create this virus. Alberta Health Services – and the rest of the country – have had two years to build and create space, hire and train staff and increase resorces. Where are the antivirals? Boosters have already been ordered.
The bullying and bribing attempts came first, and now the punishment tactics; especially toward young adults – even to the point that they risk not achieving degrees that they have worked so hard for, when there are not yet long-term studies as to the full potential repercussions as to why women are experiencing menses after the vaccine or the long-term effects of heart inflammation seen in young men, has opened the door for others to think it is right to do the same. The vaccine mandators need the vaccinated numbers to go up, even in those who have already had COVID/DELTA to “prove” that the vaccines work – or soon it may be proven that they don’t, or at least two doses don’t. In Israel, fully vaccinated now means three shots; Canada has already ordered its boosters.
Alberta has suffered the most out of any province with mental health issues during the pandemic, and yet that is not being taken into consideration with the high numbers of cases in this province, even though everyone knows the dangers of stress on the body. Jobs have been lost, healthy physical and spiritual practices and connections have been taken away. Those sick or exposed are alone, lonely, isolated and people are dying unable to receive love, touch nor even say goodbye to loved ones. My daughter, 19, had COVID and after 10 days she could barely breathe because she was LONELY. The treatment of people, of humans, over the past almost two years has been inhumane and not how we are meant to live – this discrimination is just another example and a whole new level. No one knows the answers and the gap of those dying is steadily closing. As a touch-therapy provider, there is also the concern for me offering treatment to those with an increased risk of the development of blood clots after vaccines and after having had COVID, which I will also take into consideration upon re-opening.
Because my work involves positive energy, building community and sharing love, I believe it is best that I shut down during this most uncertain time and revisit in one month. Please look forward to a follow-up email October 20th.
In the meantime, I will be moving forward with my second attempt to get a vaccine exemption because of my severe reaction to the flu shot in October 1999 when I was 11 weeks pregnant with my middle child – who was born and died of a horrible and uncontrolled seizure disorder. I was very sick after my shot with oculo-respiratory syndrome (ORS), which is a syndrome that they were not even aware of at the time; I know first-hand the detrimental effects of the unknowns. I was not only severely sick for days, it also negatively affected my asthma for the rest of my pregnancy – possibly for the rest of my life.
The years of trauma of having and loving a very special needs child, of watching her suffer and die and now the post trauma of not only the forced vaccine issue, but also being discriminated against because I am making a personal and informed choice – I was even told by an immunologist never receive another vaccine. I understand we have social a healthcare system, but I also know that everyone, one shot, two shots and no shots can spread the disease and social pressure should never take away from individual choice based on risk-benefit. My daughter already took one for team community; she suffered and seizured almost every day for eight years – up to over 20 grand-mal seizures per day until she died. My other children lost their sister and much of their childhood, I lost my baby and in many ways my life – and now I am being punished once again.
I don’t believe that there is no anti-viral that could help, so perhaps put your anger towards those who have the authority to give that a yes. I do believe that the individuals who are hesitant and think they had COVID or have immunity should be able to get antibody and titer testing. I had all of the symptoms of COVID in December 2019 after visiting Florida and last spring I wanted to pay for my own test to see if I had antibodies, but they only way I could get it done was to say I had been to China... So, I refused to sign the form – unethical “science.”
If you look at the recent statistics put out by AHC early September that showed the numbers of those vaccinated who contracted COVID-19 versus those who had not received two vaccinations “IN THE LAST 120 DAYS,” the information is being misconstrued. Of course the numbers are higher – even 84% in the former two groups over the “last 120 days,” because of when the doses were given, how and to whom. There is a reason boosters are being ordered.
