Day 13 – 20-20 Yoga & Meditation – Know Your Personal Philosophy – Seed #2 – I AM HERE TO SEE AND TO SHOW

I was excited for today because I know for sure that the very word you chose yesterday has already began to manifest in various ways in your life.  Perhaps you are looking for it, which is great, but because you asked for it, trust that it is and will continue to be provided.  

On this journey to your goal and when arrive, you are going to see many things. And what you see changes your vision. You will have to use, not only our eyes, but your intuition in order to stay on track. We already know the quote by ANAÏS NIN, “We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are.”  This affects how we see things emotionally and mentally, with our physical sight and it also effects our dreams and imagination.

We are going to experience times where we have decisions to make and we seek reassurance. This is why it is important to have a personal philosophy.  Your personal philosophy is taking what you believe and have always believed to be important in order to maintain your integrity and not lose sight of your vision.  

Life as similar to a game of Janga, where there are constantly blocks being pulled out from under us. What is important is that all of the other blocks are solidly placed to keep your foundation strong. This is why it is important to pay attention to each of the seven aspects of wellness: because you are going to need the other six when one gets the rug pulled out from under you. When this happens, the greatest tool you can have in your pocket is your own personal philosophy. These words are your positive perspective, they will be your strength and what you will look for to recover. 

Seed #2 Know Your Personal Philosophy

MINDFULNESS" Choose a word or a phrase that suits your goal.  Something that when that piece gets pulled out and you cannot see the others side you can remind yourself of and trust in.  It is something so innate in you that you never want to forget.  It is always good to know this at the beginning of your journey because as we change, our vision can change and as our vision changes, we change even more. This word or phrase will bring you back to why you set out on this journey and what you are really looking for – so you will see it each time it is right in front of you. It is your integrity, your strength and your authenticity; all of which you can trust. 

MOVEMENT: Emotional – Third-Eye Chakra: Open your body to strengthening your personal philosophy for vision, integrity, flexibility and foundation. 

MEDITATION: A great meditation for your Third-Eye Chakra or as a preparation for mediation is alternate nostril breathing. Nadi Shodhana can be practiced by taking your right thumb and placing it on your right nostril and taking your right ring finger and placing it on your left nostril. Your pointer and middle fingers can rest gently between your eyebrows. As you breath in through your left nostril close the right with your thumb, then breathe out through your right nostril, closing the left side with your ring finger. Then breathe in through your right nostril, keeping your left closed, and out through your left, closing your right. Eventually you will be able to do this comfortably without needing your thumb and finger. 
When I was going to the most painful time of my life, when my middle daughter passed away and I had two more children to raise.  I knew I needed something to believe in, something grounding – that bright side I could look for during the difficult days.  I told myself that LOVE lives in our home and that it would conquer all; it would be the one thing when I had no strength that could trump all else.  I cannot tell you how many times this word had to be true for me through all of the many unknowns.

MORE: Seed #2 is your personal philosophy. Today write the word or phrase that sums up what will hold you strong when you feel vulnerable. What positive mantra will you look for that you trust help you to see and show when your vision is challenged? So that you can say with confidence,” I AM HERE TO SEE AND TO SHOW.”
